Sidney Norman Blake, 66, Gaithersburg

Born Oct. 11, 1943, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Sidney A. and Nadine Blake.

He was a commercial appliance service mechanic.

He is survived by his children, Michael Blake (Lynn) of Grand Rapids, Mich., David Blake (Missy) of Warsaw, Ind., Robert Blake of Mechanicsville and Veronica Williams (Ricky) of Mechanicsville; his siblings Roberta Blake Solis (Jerry) of Darnestown and Raymond Blake (Carol) of Lewis, Del.; and four grandchildren, Andy Blake, Raymond Blake, Ashley Williams and Breanna Williams.

A funeral service was held Feb. 2 at Brinsfield Funeral Home in Leonardtown. Interment will take place today, Feb. 3, at Mount Zion Cemetery in Bethesda.
