Raise the alcohol tax

"Water fee idea dead for now" is like saying we will get you sooner or later.
I do oppose the tax for every landowner on water. According to The Washington Post, Charles County already has one of the highest rates of property taxes in the state. Our commissioners are eager to raise taxes, and I project that in the near future landowners will be getting a tax bill for the number of apples and pears on their trees and the number of string beans and tomatoes on their vines.
There is a simpler way to raise taxes, even though our representatives in Annapolis do not agree.
Raise the tax on alcohol products which has not been done in more than 20 years.
