Soccer registration
Online registration for St. Mary's Youth Soccer's spring season is open for Recreation and RecPlus players at www.stmaryssoccer.org.
Walk-in dates for spring registration will also be held at Dean Lumber in Hollywood, Warehouse C from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 13.
St. Mary's Youth Soccer offers a recreational soccer program for children of all ages in southern St. Mary's County. The league is always looking for volunteer coaches for its programs. For the Recreation program, no experience is required. E-mail president Bill Oosterink at billo@md.metrocast.net.
Umpires wanted
The Southern Maryland ASA Youth Fastpitch Softball program for recreational level play being administered by Hughesville Softball Association is looking for additional umpires.
