Huntingtown

Woman charged withdisorderly conduct

A neighbor called police after hearing a woman in front of the house next door yelling and cursing. Deputy Moises Velasquez responded at 12:55 a.m. on April 5 and found Heather M. Malamphy, 18, of Huntingtown, who appeared intoxicated. Malamphy was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Lusby

Man shot at with BB gunon golf course

Deputy April Litteral responded to the Chesapeake Hills Country Club on April 4 at 1:30 p.m. for a firearms complaint. The complainant, an employee of the club, reported that he had been shot at with a BB gun while on the fairway near the 10th hole. He saw two juveniles shooting from what appeared to be a treehouse. He told Litteral that this has been an ongoing problem. Litteral is continuing the investigation.

Theft of ATV reported

Deputy Thomas Rickard responded to Binnacle Court on March 30 at 12:30 p.m. for a theft call. The caller said she saw a young male riding up and down the road on her children’s 2006 Sahara 4-wheeler. When she and another witness confronted the male, he allegedly became disorderly and hostile and took off on foot. Rickard saw the suspect standing with a group of juveniles at the end of Binnacle Court and made contact with him. The suspect, later identified as Christopher A. Bysheim, 20, of Lusby was arrested and charged with theft and disorderly conduct.

Man charged with DUIand possession of marijuana

After stopping a vehicle on northbound Route 4 and Cove Point Road on April 4 at 2 a.m., Deputy Moises Velasquez found the driver, later identified as Jamar D. Mackall, 31, of Prince Frederick to be driving while under the influence of suspected drugs or alcohol. A search revealed suspected marijuana. Mackall was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.

Port Republic

Vehicle’s window smashed out

Dfc. David Denton responded to a home on Shamrock Court and was told that sometime between April 5 and April 6 someone had smashed out the passenger side window of their vehicle. Nothing appears to have been taken from the vehicle and the damage was estimated at $300. Dfc. Denton is continuing the investigation.
