Epicurean event successful

Friday, April 11, 2008

Tap’s Community Brotherhood would like to extend a public thank you to all who helped make our second Epicurean Event at Blue Wind Gourmet an overwhelming success on March 28.

Specifically, we would like to thank the following businesses for donating to the event: Blair’s Jewelers, Blue Wind Gourmet, Castilian Hair Fashion, Dai’s Asian Massage, The Good Earth, Green Door Tavern, Kenny’s Flowers, Leonardtown Sunoco, Outback Steakhouse, Solomons Pier, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, Tall Timbers Marina, The Tea Room, The Tides Restaurant, Woodlands Grill, and our sponsor, Chad Jackson. TCB would also like to thank all of the bidders of the evening. The live auction led by TCB’s own Alex David made the night one to remember.

One of the hot items of the night was a pair Redskins tickets donated by the Bildman family that went after a heated, yet hilarious battle. Overall, the amazing turnout and community support helped TCB raise more than $7,000, making this the most successful event in TCB history thus far. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations and for coming out and supporting us. We look forward to seeing everyone at the second 3-on-3 May Madness Basketball Tournament on May 3 at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Please visit www.thetcb.org for more information.
