1. Recreational crabbers normally have never taken females. I have been on the water most of my life and we have never taken them.

2. How come all the crabs are owned by the watermen? Do they pay for them? Do they pay more taxes than me?

3. I thought Gov. Martin O’Malley was this big environmentalist. Why did he not just shut off all crabs to everyone and let the fishery recover?ĘThis worked wonders for the rockfish.

How stupid does everyone think we are? It is overfishing that is the cause. I wish O’Malley and the Maryland DNR would stop worrying about the commercial lobbyists and realize recreational money is bigger than the lobbyists’ money.
