On May 1, the AMF Bowling Lanes sponsored a "Bunker Roberts Day."
Bunker is a lifelong resident of Charles County and is suffering with Lou Gehrig's disease; this was a day that Bunker's family and friends could honor him.
There isn't a thank-you large enough to tell all his friends who came out and supported him with friendship, fellowship and donations.
Silent auction items were donated by Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, Arrow American Pest Control, Martini's Restaurant, Tri-County Hearth and Patio, Premier Designs Jewelry, Outback Steakhouse, Home Health Products, Flying Flapjacks, Dorothy Roberts, Exceed Carpet & Upholstery Care and Galleria Salon & Spa and Silpada jewelry provided a beautiful display and gave from their sales.
Donations were just too numerous to mention, and Bunker and his family greatly appreciate all the love and support shown by everyone.
The turnout was exceptional — so many amazing people doing an amazing thing to help Bunker. God bless each and every one of you; Bunker and Diane wish there were some way to repay your love.
