Kris Bayer is the president of the Charles County Lacrosse Club, which was started two years ago. In that short time, the league has attracted 280 players, 110 of which were girls 4 to 15. The girls compete against teams from Calvert and St. Mary's and this year the league fielded two Pee Wee teams (8- to 10-year-olds), a Middie (11-12) team, two junior teams (13-15) and started a Chicklette program (4-7).
