The treasures of the Chesapeake Bay took center stage as Dickinson Jewelers raised $1,500 for Calvert Hospice recently during its Annual Nautical Jewelry Show. Dickinson Jewelers recently held its annual nautical jewelry and giftware show celebrating life on and around the Chesapeake Bay. For the two-day June event, Calvert Hospice was chosen as this year’s Nautical Show community partner, receiving all proceeds from the raffle of the ‘‘Chesapeake Treasures Basket,” which contains nautical themed jewelry and other items. Calvert Hospice received a check for $1,500 for the Burnett-Calvert Hospice House, which is currently under construction. Pictured are Ernest and Gloria Lee, winners of the Chesapeake Treasures Basket and Lynn Bonde, executive director of Calvert Hospice, receiving a check from Claude and Kathy Dickinson of Dickinson Jewelers.
