The following are a list of 2010 graduates from St. Mary's County high schools who received Charlotte Hall Military Academy School Scholarships.

These scholarships were presented by current board of trustee members at each school's awards banquet.

Charlotte Hall Military Academy was founded in 1774 and was the oldest secondary school in the country; it was in operation for 202 years. The school served boys from all over the country, as well as boys from Canada and South America.

Its graduates include 19 congressmen, two governors, the first Librarian of Congress, Abraham Lincoln's attorney general, a U.S. surgeon general as well as more current graduates, including Dr. J. Roy Guyther, local family physician for 46 years and author of books about Southern Maryland, and Col. Norwood Sothoron, All-American lacrosse and football player and the first athlete to letter in four sports at the University of Maryland, and many others.

The school's board of trustees still exists and its purpose is to award scholarships in the name of school to students from St. Mary's and Charles counties each year.

The winners of the Charlotte Hall Military Academy School 2010 scholarships are: Emily Benish of Chopticon High School, University of Maryland; Karmyn Shani Pittman of Chopticon, University of Pittsburgh; Jemarc-van Ruiz Axinto of Great Mills High School, St. Mary's College of Maryland; Jessica Manning of Great Mills, North Carolina State University; John Kenny of Leonard Hall Junior Naval Academy, College of Southern Maryland; Anthony Oblen of Leonardtown High School, Harvard University; Elizabeth Davis of Leonardtown, Carnegie Mellon University; Cassie Raley of St. Mary's Ryken, Salisbury University; and Matt Scott of St. Mary's Ryken, Christopher Newport University
