Indictments

A Charles County grand jury has issued the following indictments:

Jo Vaughn Marcel Brown, 23, of Waldorf was charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute, drug possession, marijuana possession and possession of narcotics production equipment for events that occurred May 26.

Jack Harold Culp, 50, currently residing in the Charles County jail, was charged with failing to appear in court for events that occurred Oct. 14, 2006.

Dwayne Anthony McGowan, 27, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree burglary and theft of more than $500 for events that occurred July 17.

Derek Lorenzo Washington, 35, currently residing in the Western Correctional Institute, was charged with first-degree rape, second-degree rape, assault with intent to rape, attempted armed robbery, attempted robbery, assault with intent to rob, assault and battery, six counts of using a handgun in commission of a felony or violent crime and wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun for events that occurred July 17, 1992.

Windell Emanuel Barnes, 21, of Washington, D.C., was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and marijuana possession for events that occurred July 21.

Gregory Lee Boseman, 35, of Waldorf was charged with wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun in a vehicle on public roads, possession of a firearm by a person with a felony conviction, possessing, selling, transferring and disposing of a stolen regulated firearm and theft of less than $500 for events that occurred Oct. 5.

Beverly Jane Britton, 54, of Suitland was charged with two counts of theft of more than $500 and drug possession for events that occurred July 6.

Brent Antron Carroll, 30, of Nanjemoy was charged with narcotics possession with intent to distribute and drug possession for events that occurred July 15.

Christopher Brendon Davis, 24, of Waldorf was charged with manufacturing drugs with intent to distribute for events that occurred Dec. 10.

Deante Mandell Duckett, 24, of Brandywine was charged with possession of a firearm by a person with a felony conviction, possessing, selling, transferring or disposing of a stolen regulated firearm, theft of less than $500, wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun, wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun in a vehicle on public roads and reckless endangerment for events that occurred July 15.

Vanzell John Duncan, 36, of Waldorf was charged with second-degree physical child abuse and second-degree assault for events that occurred July 17.

Derek Gregory Fisher Jr., 20, of Waldorf was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession and possession of narcotics production equipment for events that occurred July 20.

Trayzon Xsabain Harvey, 14, of Waldorf was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, three counts of using a handgun in commission of a felony or violent crime, armed robbery, first-degree assault, robbery, second-degree assault, theft of less than $500, wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun, possession of a regulated firearm and ammunition by a person under the age of 21, possession of a regulated firearm, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, concealing a dangerous weapon and wearing and carrying a dangerous weapon with intent to injure for events that occurred July 28.

George Randolph Joyner Jr., 26, of Greensboro, N.C., was charged with attempted theft of more than $500, fraud, possessing or using a false government ID and marijuana possession for events that occurred July 21 and 22.
