Support Calvert Hospice again with Festival of Trees

Our theme this year — "The Dream Becomes a Reality" — marks a significant milestone of this annual event.

We have grown into one of Calvert County's premiere celebrations — one which heralds in the holiday season in the county.

Our growth over these years would not have been possible without the continuing support of businesses, as well as residents of Calvert County.

All proceeds from the festival are designated for the Burnett-Calvert Hospice House.

The Hospice House was dedicated on June 20 and will receive its first patients this fall.

We are truly grateful for the community support that has made this dream a reality for Calvert County.

We are requesting your assistance to help us celebrate the 21st anniversary of the festival.

There are many ways in which you can support the festival and demonstrate your commitment to the work of Calvert Hospice. They include:

Sponsor a festival tree — A beautifully decorated tree can be purchased to brighten your home or office.

You may dedicate your tree in memory of or in honor of a loved one.

If it is more convenient for you, we can process your sponsorship form and bill you for it later.

Sponsors of 6.5 and 7.5 foot trees will receive two complimentary tickets to the Preview Dinner and Auction.

Attend the Festival Preview Dinner and Auction — Mark your calendar now for this year's gala event which will be held Friday, Nov. 27, at 6 p.m. at the hall at the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department.

Hospice House benefactors donating $2,000 will receive a beautifully decorated 7.5 foot tree, a table for eight at the Preview Dinner and Auction and recognition in the Festival program.

Single tickets for the preview dinner and auction are $75. Tickets must be purchased in advanced.
