Charles County NAACP will hold its general meeting from 6:30-9 p.m. Sept. 15 at Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, U.S. 301, White Plains. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month. Call 301-396-4896.
Indian Head Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing with the town council on the town's comprehensive plan at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Village Green Pavilion, 100 Walter Thomas Road. Maryland Transportation Authority will hold a hearing 5-8 p.m. Sept. 17 on the results of an environmental assessment of the seven alternatives proposed to deal with safety and capacity issues with the Gov.
