Roger David Coleson, 88, Nanjemoy

Roger David ‘‘Buzz” Coleson, 88, of Nanjemoy died Sept. 15, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Coleson was a retired U.S. Air Force pilot. He was a World War II veteran. He lived here for 29 years.

Born Feb. 9, 1920, in Turtle Lake, Wis., he was the son of the late Emmett and the late Florence Coleson.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Murphy Coleson of Nanjemoy; son, Mark David Coleson of Arlington, Va.; daughter, Susan Lee Fox of Seal Rock, Ore.; sister, Leone Reed of Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and friends, Frank and Eloyce Gallivan of Loveland, Colo.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 1 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.

Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
