Jennie Lee Elliton, 82, of Huntingtown died Sept. 9, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
She lived in Huntingtown for more than 21 years and was a member of Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church. Her hobbies included cooking but she will be remembered as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Elliton Sr.; daughter, Carolyn Lee Koch; sons, James Glenn and Robert Michael Elliton; sisters, Jane Dorman, Betty Starke and Paulette Clancy; brother, James P. Coakley; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Elliton Jr., who died in 2000.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 16 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Owings. The officiating minister was the Rev. James Downs. The interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton.
