Enter the Fair for $1 or a 14 oz. or larger can of food

Fair Officially Opens — 4 p.m.

Official Opening Ceremony for 2009 Fair — 4:45 p.m.

Carnival Opens "Sneak Preview" Night — 5 p.m.

Little Miss & Little Prince 1 Contest (Ages 4-5) — 6:30 p.m. All contestants must be pre-registered.

Senior Citizens & Handicapped Day — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free Admission & Free Lunch for Seniors & Handicapped Persons. Special Events Planned for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fair Opens — 9 a.m.

Calvert High School Chorus (Outdoor Stage) — 9:30 a.m.

"Elvis" Jim Godbold (Main Hall) — 10 a.m.

Carnival Open for Seniors & Handicapped Persons – 10 a.m. to noon

Lunch for Senior & Handicapped Persons (Free) — Noon

Bingo (Main Hall) — 1:30 p.m.

4-H & Open Goat Show — 6 p.m.

21st Annual Youth Day

Youth younger than 18 free gate admission until 4 p.m.

Special Challenge for 2009 Youth Day Attendees (Preschool – Age 18): Bring a can of food and leave it at the entry gate between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Fair & Carnival Open — 9 a.m.

4-H & Open Swine Show — 9 a.m.

Bike Drawing Registration (Drawing at 4 p.m.) 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Do not have to be present to win, but must be present to register. Bikes donated by Kmart of Prince Frederick

Art Contest — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by Optimist Club of Calvert

Black Belt Academy of Martial Arts — 9:30 a.m.

Spelling Bee Grades 3&4, 5&6, 7&8 — 9:45 to 11 a.m. Sponsored by the Prince Frederick Rotary Club

Granpa Cratchet Show — 10 a.m.

Hoopshooting — 10 a.m. to noon. Sponsored by the Solomons Optimist Club

Baseball Fast Pitch — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sponsored by the Calvert County Sheriff's Office

Games and Contests on Track — 10:30 to noon: Sequence of Events — 3-legged Race; Sack Race; Pyramid Race; Bean Bag Toss; Frisbee Toss; John Deere Tricycle Race; Balloon Race; Wheelbarrow Race
