Charles Henry Wills Jr., 42, Leonardtown

Charles Henry "Chuck" Wills Jr., 42, of Leonardtown, formerly of Edgemere, died Oct. 27, 2009, in Leonardtown.

Born May 20, 1967, in Baltimore, he was the son of Alma Jean Guice and his stepfather Thomas Guice of Baltimore.

He attended Sparrows Point High School in Baltimore County. He worked as a maintenance technician for St. Mary's County government.

He loved guitars, running, collecting antiques, the friends he made in St. Mary's County, as well as spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca Holly Wills and his daughter, Autumn Elizabeth Wills, both of Leonardtown; as well as his sister, Leah Ratcliffe of Baltimore.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 30, at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home in Leonardtown, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown.
