Robert Francis Burdette, 74, of Clinton died Nov. 1, 2009, at Prince George's Hospital Center, Cheverly.

Mr. Burdette was retired from A&P. He was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton.

Born June 11, 1935, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Edward F. Burdette and the late Birdie V. Sturgess.

He is survived by his son, John R. Hutchinson; sisters, Ella L. Williams, Margaret A. Armas and Barbara E. Burdette; brothers, George H. Burdette and Walter D. Burdette; and grandchildren, Ryan and Laura Hutchinson.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Nov. 8 at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 9 at Clinton United Methodist Church, Burial will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
