U.S. Baseball Academy

The U.S. Baseball Academy will hold a pitcher and catcher camps from Jan. 3 to Feb. 7 at St. Mary's College of Maryland.

The camp is open to players in ages 1 through 12.

The training sessions include six weeks of instruction for as low as $99.

Registration deadlines are approximately six weeks before each session begins and spots are limited.

Falcons soccer

The Freestate Falcons, a U-12 girls soccer team, are looking to add two to three players, including a goalkeeper.

Players born on or after Aug. 1, 1997 and before Aug. 1, 1999 are eligible.

A winter futsal league is forming for teams and individuals in U-10 through U-19 age groups at Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf.

Sting offering lessons
