Charlotte Hall Veterans Home to host open house

Charlotte Hall Veterans Home will hold its fifth annual open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the home, located at 29449 Charlotte Hall Road in Charlotte Hall.

The event will provide information about issues of interest to seniors, their families, physicians and other health care professionals. The day will include tours of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home and demonstrations of services offered to our residents to include skilled nursing care, assisted living, Alzheimer's care and rehabilitative services. Attendees will see the array of activities offered to residents, the new Optometry Center, Beauty/Barber shop and massage therapy. Entertainment and light refreshments will be available. In addition, local businesses, organizations and government agencies are invited to exhibit. All Maryland residents are invited to visit.
