Virginia Lee Adams, 76, Lusby

Virginia Lee Adams, 76, of Lusby died Oct. 29, 2009, at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick.

She was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Takoma Park to the late Virginia Crawford Payne and John Edward Payne.

She worked for numerous doctors' offices as a medical assistant and also with veterinarians.

She loved being surrounded by her family and friends and her beloved animals, especially her devoted companion, Zachary.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlton R. Adams.

She is survived by her son, James R. Adams of Lusby; daughter, Kari Wotton of Melborne, Fla.; granddaughter, Kelli Clark of Aquasco; and her grandson, Steven R. Adams of Lusby.

Funeral services were Nov. 3 at the Rausch Funeral Home in Lusby with the Rev. William Davis officiating.

Interment followed at Solomons United Methodist Church Cemetery in Solomons.
