LWV to host evening with delegates

The League of Women Voters of Calvert County will hold its Annual Legislative Evening with the Annapolis Delegation on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Calvert Pines Senior Center in Prince Frederick from 7 to 9 p.m.

Representatives from local community groups will have the chance to speak with state legislators about their priorities for the 2010 General Assembly Session. State Senators Thomas V. "Mike" Miller (D-Calvert, Prince George's) and Roy Dyson (D-St. Mary's, Calvert, Charles) and Delegates Sue Kullen (D-Calvert), Anthony J. O'Donnell (R-Calvert, St. Mary's), James Proctor (D-Prince George's, Calvert) and Joseph Vallario (D-Calvert, Prince George's) are expected to attend, according to a league press release. Public comment will be allowed as time permits.
