School bus in accident, no students injured

Calvert County public school bus number 133 was in a minor accident shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday on Route 231 in Prince Frederick.
Several police cruisers responded to the scene, but no children were injured, said Lt. Steve Jones of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.
"The driver was not at fault in the accident," he said.
Jones said he was not sure to which school the bus was going, but he assumed it was Barstow Elementary.
An ambulance transported the bus driver to the hospital because he asked to be checked out, Jones said.
