Country music for charity

Skyla Spencer will perform at 8:05 p.m. Nov. 21 at My Brother's Place. After graduating from college, Spencer moved to Nashville, and her new single, "The Girl," is receiving airplay. The event is at 3081 Old Washington Road, Waldorf. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, children younger than 6 get in for free. They are being sold at Hot Licks Guitar Shop, Bullock's Piano Salon East and Joe's Grocery and Deli.
