The College of Southern Maryland's theater company will perform "Some Enchanted Evening," a compilation of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein's famous works at 8 p.m. Nov. 19-21 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 22 in the fine arts center on the La Plata campus, 8730 Mitchell Road. The performance will include hits like "Shall We Dance" and "Sixteen Going on Seventeen."
"It is a great time to sit back and remember when life was simpler," said the college's new fine arts director, H. Keith Hight, in a press release. Hight is collaborating with director Michael Santana and choreographer Oscar Hawkins, and the cast includes Jennifer Anne Cooper, Deidre Locklear, AnnaBelle Lowe, Sarah Riggle and Amanda Wegand.
