Norman John Coulter, 74, Sunderland

Norman John ‘‘Norm” Coulter, 74, of Sunderland died Nov. 11, 2 006, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis.

He was born March 31, 1932, in Towson to the late Norman J. and Mary Simms Coulter.

He graduated from Towson High School in 1950. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1958, discharged with the rank of Airman 2nd Class. He married Marie Keithley on Oct. 26, 1984, in Towson. He was employed as a master machinist for Qwebecor Printing, retiring in 1995. He was a 25-year member of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Worker Local 186. He was also a 45-year member of the North-South Skirmish Association where he was a Confederate soldier involved in black powder musket shooting competitions. He was an avid history buff.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Coulter; daughter, Linda Lou Jones of Dundalk; step-son, Steven M. Lincoln of Carney; step-daughter, Sharon M. Hulett of Huntingtown; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at Rausch Funeral Home in Owings. The officiating minister was the Rev. Richard W. Hancock Jr. The interment was at Louden Park Cemetery in Baltimore.

The pallbearers were Steven Lincoln, Tom Hulett, Bob Jones, Bill Seaby, Tom Cutwight, and Moses Messer.
