The St. Mary's River is a special place for me. The fish that depend on clean water, the amazing botanical diversity, and the miles of riverfront land are irreplaceable treasures that are part of the heritage of all Americans. Here at the St. Mary's River Watershed Association, we strive to establish a sustainable and beneficial relationship between the ecology of the St. Mary's River and the communities in the watershed.
The St. Mary's River Watershed Association's mission is to protect, improve and promote the well-being of the St. Mary's River watershed through the collaborative efforts of economic, agricultural, environmental, social, cultural and political stakeholders. As St. Mary's faces rapid development, our members are vital in the development and growth of the association. Members help keep us up to date on the local watershed and water conditions and help us fund our numerous projects and programs.
Please help support our mission to preserve the St. Mary's River community, a place that has become like family to many of us; whether it is your livelihood or your playground, we need to protect this precious gem for the generations to come.
